“ Its been 7 years since the last time we visited Junkyard, since then we have returned married ,and pleasantly surprised and impressed with the renewed Junkyard. We could not believe how amazing this place looks ! Upon arrival we were greeted at the door, and then again by Ari, she is amazing, attentive, and just a joy to be around. Everyone there is very kind, and you can tell they all care for one another, and the girls and gals are so kind. We just started to get our groove going back, and eventually I hope to know all there names :). The food is awesome, my favorite is the cheese curds, and Parmesan wings. The beers are always cold and fresh, and a great selection of whisky There's people from all over, and its fun to sit and watch the Padres game, and see other teams lovers there cheering on there team. We are really happy to have Junkyard in our town, and bringing people together at such an amazing place. Please keep up the great work guys, you definitely have fans over here. ”

“ Came to junkyard for the first time tonight after an SD Sockers game. We are freaking BLOWN AWAY. The food absolutely floored us. Dump truck nachos are a must, the carnitas included were absolute fire. We also had the Nashville hot chicken tendies. No exaggeration when I say I this is the most flavorful and best chicken I've ever had. Anita our server took such good care of us and steered us in the right direction. As decent as the food offerings are at Frontwave arena, we will dining here instead before or after every time instead. ”

“ It's been about six months since we last visited Junkyard. I knew they made a lot of updates and wanted to check out the new place. We had eaten some excellent Italian food next door at Mangia de Bevi and popped in here for a quick drink and some $3 tacos (for Taco Tuesday). Before walking in, we noticed a whole new door had been created and could not enter the previous door so already that was a big change, but we were not prepared for seeing the inside. Wow! They nearly doubled the square footage by blowing a wall out and taking the space next door. We sat at the bar. It's happy hour virtually all day every day (M-F only) from 11:30 to 6:30pm, so we ordered some $7 Happy Hour margaritas. They were quite excellent and I could easily mow through several of these in a heartbeat. We also ordered the $3 tacos, one of each: carne asada, carnitas, and achiote chicken. The chicken looked like it had a lot of flavor, but it really didn't. All tacos needed a little more salt. The green salsa they add to the top of each is really good however. Service was great and around 3pm it was pretty empty inside but when we left, people were beginning to trickle in. Overall this is a really nice renovation they did and I'm anxious to try out the food. I heard they had a $20 beer & burger special we need to check out. Next time! ”

“ This establishment is the place to be! Celebrating a birthday, going away party , or just want to vibe on a Friday night . Junkyard has live music on Fridays then a dj from 9-12am . The service is on point and the details on the decor are a must see . No place like this in Oceanside from there fish tacos to there burgers . Everything is in house made you can definitely say it's elevated bar food with a taste of love . New owners put a lot of TLC into this place and you can feel it when you walk in . Lots of TVs for multiple sports on simultaneously . Music is always on point. There's a patio with fire pit and cozy blankets/ heaters if you get cold . I can truly say this is my second home . ”

“ Stopped by on a Taco Tuesday evening. They have $7 margaritas and $3 tacos. The margarita was great! Tacos looked ok, I didn't have any but I did order the TJ Dog. It was mostly bread. I also ordered a side of fries and onion rings, both were both good. There are lots of tables/booths to sit at. The ambiance inside is great and they have lots of TVs so I'll definitely be back to watch a game. They had live music but it was a bit too loud for us at one point. I was not able to hear people at my table talking, we had to stop taking and wait for the music to stop so we could hear each other. The music was good but it would've been a better experience if it wasn't so loud. ”

“ Had a great time last night. What keeps us coming back is Ari, she is so much more then a great bar tender. The service she provides and the incredible fun attitude she has really makes the experience great. Again the new addition to the restaurant is nice as well as the new menu. And try the new mango madness, I think it's called, it's really good. ”
